1940s Wrestling Boxing Program Honolulu TH Vic Christy David Young Chico Rosa

$50.00

1940s Wrestling Boxing Program Honolulu TH Vic Christy David Young Chico Rosa. Found in a trunk of my father’s boxing memorabilia.

My father, Joseph Nobleza, boxed from age 10 in Wahiawa, HI through 4yrs enlistment in the US Army 1947-1952 at Schofield Barracks. During that time he was All Army Bantamweight and Far East Champion and known in Hawaii as the ”Hawaiian Rainbow”. He fought on the same US Army boxing team as Zorro Foley and Floyd Patterson. My dad also went to the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Trials but sadly lost to Davey Moore - who eventually died in the ring. My dad passed away a few months ago - thought a collector would really appreciate this. My dad is mentioned in this program under Amateur Boxing.

Dimensions: 10.5” x 8”

Condition: Dog eared corners, split at lower spine, overall condition is fair to poor - but it’s all there - $50.00

If you are into Boxing and Wrestling memorabilia - you might consider adding this to your collection.
