1949 Boxing Program Honolulu TH Richard Abasial Joseph Nobleza Oahu County Champ

$50.00

1949 Boxing Program Honolulu TH Richard Abasial Joseph Nobleza Oahu County Champs. Found in a trunk of my father’s boxing memorabilia.

My father, Joseph Nobleza, boxed from age 10 in Wahiawa, HI through 4yrs enlistment in the US Army 1947-1952 at Schofield Barracks. During that time he was All Army Bantamweight and Far East Champion and known in Hawaii as the ”Hawaiian Rainbow”. He fought on the same US Army boxing team as Zorro Foley and Floyd Patterson. My dad also went to the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Trials but sadly lost to Davey Moore - who eventually died in the ring. My dad passed away a few months ago - thought a collector would really appreciate this. My dad is mentioned in this program under Oahu County Champions.

Dimensions: 10.5” x 8”

Condition: Dog eared corners, splits at both edges of spine, overall condition is fair for its age-about 77 yrs old - $50.00

If you are into Boxing and Wrestling memorabilia - you might consider adding this to your collection.
