Aloha CRUZ ISLAND+BEACH 2 Enthusiast!
Thank you for your interest in our 2nd SEMIANNUAL "CRUZ ISLAND+BEACH™" SURF, SKATE, & HAWAIIANA EXPO on Saturday, June 18, 2005! This show has been created due to the overwhelming popularity of tropical merchandise in the marketplace and directed to vendors who deal in quality new and vintage Surf, Skate, and Hawaiiana. CRUZ ISLAND+BEACH 2 will be held again at AVIATION PARK GYMNASIUM in Redondo Beach, CA. (the same location as DA SHOW), 8:00am to 4:00pm. Please feel free to call or email me for further information. We will now include VINTAGE along with CONTEMPORARY assortments of Surf, Skate, and Hawaiiana home decor, accessories, clothing, and gifts, as key items occupying some 18,000 sq. ft. of our Tropical-themed expo. "ISLAND+BEACH" is our semiannual event, held twice a year, in June and November. Our next event, CRUZ ISLAND+BEACH 2, represents the eighth annual event (including the previous event called "Da Show"), features quality contemporary as well as vintage Surf, Skate, & Hawaiiana.
Our expanded and strengthened concept significantly broadens the scope of our expo while remaining true to the Hawaiian-, tropical-, and beach-themed lifestyles so important to our customers who share our passion. Our goal is to provide an unparalleled and unique one-stop shopping extravaganza carefully focused to satisfy all aspects of our enviable island and beach lifestyles.

At the beach the Gidget sees beach bums surfing and is intrigued. Soon Gidget is part of "the gang" and learns to surf. This book was originally published in 1957, written by the Gidget's father.
Tomorrow: Raising an Angel - Claudia Vellozzi Averhoff
A book of poetry about life, love, and loss, as seen through the eyes of a ten-year-old, Monica Anne Averhoff, who died at twelve years of age in a tragic accident, interwoven with a narrative story written by her mother, Claudia Vellozzi Averhoff. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the "Monica Anne Averhoff Fund for the Education of Orphans and Homeless Children in Indonesia through the Friends of Jakarta International School Foundation" (purchasing this book is a way of supporting tsunami survivors).

The Torquays - Live!
Taking their name from an old Fireballs tune, The Torquays formed in 1990 in Orange County, California, a hotbed for many of the original surf bands. Their style is totally traditional, down to their vintage equipment.
